Orthopaedics

It is also called "unicondylar knee resurfacing" which is the replacement of either the outer or inner compartment of the knee joint.
Manipulation of a joint (e.g. Hip, Knee, Shoulder) to reposition after dislocation (e.g. snapped hip) or to mobilise it (e.g. frozen shoulder, restricted movement in the knee after knee replacement)
Removal of a cartilage from the knee joint (with key hole surgery)
Injection into the joint between the toe (phalanx) and the connecting bone (metatarsal) for osteoarthritis and associated pain. The most common injection is the first toe MTPJ injection.
Blood will be taken, centrifuged for 10-15 minutes and a small fraction of it (the platelet and growth factor rich phase, 5-10x as much as in whole blood) will be injected into a joint or around a tendon for longer lasting pain relief in acute and chronic pain conditions (e.g. damaged cartilage in the knee or inflammation of tendons, such as tennis elbow). The treatment may be repeated every few weeks for up to 3-6 times.
Examination and surgery of the shoulder (with key hole surgery) (e.g. for washout, removal of a cartilage or a loose body)
Cleaning and debridement +/- closure of a wound under anaesthesia
